WHAT IS TALKSPACE?
Talkspace is a global platform that provides therapy for all. Through web and mobile applications, we aim to connect millions of people with dedicated, licensed therapists for on-demand, private text-therapy anywhere and anytime.

HOW DOES TALKSPACE WORK?
Talkspace is easy -- anyone can start with a free consultation online where they will chat with a Matching Agent who will answer any questions and ultimately match someone to a therapist based on a number of factors. Talkspace members will have 24/7 access to their therapist - through a private and secure room - where they can discuss their lives, ask questions and raise troubling issues.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
For only $25 per week (paid monthly), Talkspace members gain unlimited access to a licensed therapist - free from appointments and the inconvenience of traveling/taking time off from work. Our pricing plans are 80% lower than the average co-pay for traditional, in-office therapy appointments (which are only one hour long, twice a month).

WHO ARE THE THERAPISTS?
We have over 300 licensed therapists in the Talkspace network with more than 3,000 years of combined experience! Their backgrounds vary, specializing in issues that include: stress and anxiety, depression, LGBTQ issues, domestic violence, work/life issues, and many more. Each Talkspace therapist undergoes an extensive background check to ensure proper qualifications and a proven track record of providing excellent service.

IS TEXT-THERAPY EFFECTIVE?
Some studies show online therapy is as effective as traditional therapy, and others demonstrate online therapy is sometimes more effective than face-to-face therapy as text-messaging allows for more immediate care and higher engagement.
