It has some eleven million members around the world. With approximately 360,000 members in Germany, it is the fourth-largest Christian church. Holy Scripture is the foundation for all doctrine of the New Apostolic Church. The gospel of Jesus Christ constitutes its teachings. The Church regards it as its primary task to proclaim this gospel and provide pastoral care.
