The CVS Caremark Specialty App combines digital refill ordering and reminders to help with therapy adherence in one easy to use tool for specialty patients. This app is intended for use by existing CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy customers who have filled at least one prescription with the CVS Specialty Pharmacy.All CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy customers can use this app’s built-in adherence tool, and most customers will also be able to use this app to register a digital account, order refills, and track the status of refills. At this time, patients with the following conditions can use the refill-ordering tool:• HCV• MS• HIVPRESCRIPTION MANAGEMENT• Order prescription refills and additional supplies• View refill status of previously-filled prescriptionsADHERENCE TRACKING This tool enables our customers to create, consume, and track reminders that help you comply with your prescribed medications and regiment. This is a completely self-driven and self-reported tool. • Create reminders o Medication Reminder o Refill Reminder o Physician Appointment Reminder o Lab Visit Reminder• Consume reminders (in-app, banners, and alert forms of notifications) with snooze functionality• Track reminders o View completed, missed, and overdue reminders o View overall progress and historical adherence This is the first version of this app, and we plan to add additional functionality in the future.
