Speech Assistant is designed to communicate with people who have difficulty speaking, but are able to read. This may be in the case of aphasia, after a stroke, in case of vocal cord problems or other speech problems. The app can also be a tool to practice during rehabilitation.\\r

The app can be customized by defining categories, such as Food, Feelings or Body. For each category a set of words or phrases can be defined, which are displayed on the buttons. By touching the buttons the words or phrases appear in the display. It is also possible to use the standard keyboard to form words.\\r

To add or change words or phrases, go to Menu, then \'Categories and Words\'.\\r
The size of the buttons, the display and the text can be adjusted according to need. It is also possible to adjust the color scheme. To set up the app, go to Menu, then \'App Settings\'.\\r
