With a SensorTag App and no required hardware or software expertise, the kit removes the barriers to entry for smartphone app developers who want to take advantage of the growing number of Bluetooth Smart-enabled smartphones and tablets. The SensorTag includes 6 different MEMS sensors: Infrared temperature sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, humidity sensor, pressure sensor and magnetometer. All sensors can be controlled individually from the app.
